Miedema Sanitation

Our business was founded by Henry Miedema in 1972 with one truck & 4 commercial customers. He continued to grow the routes by the late 70s his son John was able to join the family business. As the city of Mitchell grew so did the need for more & bigger equipment to handle the the daily trash needs. A Roll off dumpster service was added in 1978 when K-Mart came to town. Johns son Jeff joined the operation in 1992. Today we operate 4 commercial garbage trucks, 2 rural trucks & 2 roll off trucks SEVEN days a week.
